To make a change on campus, NACCE and the Coleman Foundation are focusing on the first two steps in the Presidents for Entrepreneurship Pledge. Grants will be made to colleges that create and expand internal and external teams dedicated to entrepreneurship OR increase entrepreneurs’ engagement on campus. Changes in the 2013 competition include:

  • The Coleman Foundation is giving awards of up to $15,000
  • Colleges now have TWO project focus options
  • The presentation time has been increased to 10 minutes AND must be given by an interdisciplinary team
  • There will be two rounds of pitches at the conference: preliminaries are on Sunday, October 13, and finals are on Monday, October 14. Winners are announced on Tuesday, October 15.
  • Awardees will participate in monthly group calls to share best practices and continue the learning
  • Expanded eligibility of applicants to include schools at all levels of entrepreneurial programming (from getting started to having well-established programs) and varying degrees of prior implementation of the Presidents for Entrepreneurship action steps (from no prior implementation of any steps to successful prior implementation of one or more of the steps)

This is the perfect opportunity to make disruptive change on your campus. Download the application and information form today here.
