The Coleman Elevator Grants

For the past six years, the Coleman Foundation has provided more than $445,000 in grants to NACCE members, through the Coleman Elevator Grants competition. It's the only competitive grant program designed specifically for 2-year college entrepreneurship programs.

Besides being the only competition of its kind, it's also one of the most exciting events at our conferences. Approved submissions are given 3 minutes to pitch their proposal to the audience and a panel of judges, with a 2 minute Q & A follow-up. The entries are then judged and announced on the last day of the conference.

They're fast-paced and fascinating to watch for the ideas alone and of special interest for any college looking to apply in the future.
