Co-Founder and President of Empact
Sheena Lindahl is the Co-Founder and President of Empact (www.iempact.com), which celebrates young entrepreneurs and exposes individuals to entrepreneurship as a viable career path.
Empact has held over 400 events exposing young people to entrepreneurship through its Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour (www.extremetour.org), where it brings top young entrepreneurs to college campuses to share their experiences and lessons learned. The organization also annually celebrates the role of young entrepreneurs age 30 and under through the Empact100 list and showcase (www.empactshowcase.com) with recognition events for these entrepreneurs held at the White House, US Chamber of Commerce and United Nations.
Before Empact, Sheena was a senior associate at GreenHills Ventures, where she managed the due diligence process and gave recommendations on whether to invest $1.5-$5 million dollars in early stage, high-growth companies.
Sheena and her company have appeared on the AOL homepage, on ABC, CBS, NBC, and in USA Today. BusinessWeek named Sheena one of the top 25 entrepreneurs under 25 in 2006 and she was named to the Inc. Magazine 30 under 30 list in 2011. Also in 2011, Sheena was acknowledged by President Obama for her work as a young leader in America.
Sheena is a 2005 graduate of New York University.
