The American Community College system offers an excellent opportunity to a large number of students in getting good education before committing to their long term career objectives. Education at Community Colleges empowers students to realize their early learning and professional objectives. However, today our students are challenged due to global competition, and a declining leadership position of the U.S. economy. This global challenge continues to adversely affect many communities throughout the country. This changes provide a great opportunity for Community Colleges to play a critical role in revitalizing our economy at the grass roots level. More importantly, a need has arisen that fully aligns with the vision and mission of the Community College system. We must teach people to think, innovate and create entrepreneurial opportunities.
