Meet the team behind MIT’s entrepreneurship MOOCs
Erdin Beshimov, MITx Teaching Fellow
Erdin is a Teaching Fellow at MITx and the host of User Innovation. You may recognize him from MIT’s other courses on edX – “Entrepreneurship 101: Who is your customer?” and “Entrepreneurship 102: What can you do for your customer?”
At MIT, Erdin leads a group that brings together scholars, filmmakers, graphic artists and entrepreneurs. Their mission is to craft novel educational experiences. These experiences impart valuable skills, instill confidence, and build community.
Education runs in Erdin’s family – his dad and grandfather have both been university professors. But, he does consider himself an admissions mistake at Harvard and MIT.
Born in a country that no longer exists, the Soviet Union, Erdin has lived and studied in four different countries – Kyrgyzstan, India, UK and US. He hopes, of course, there will be more.
