For
several years, the How-To-Do-It Room has been a popular component of the NACCE
Annual Conference. This is where we interview experts on entrepreneurship:
authors, consultants, faculty, college presidents, students, and the
entrepreneurs themselves to understand what’s new and most effective in
entrepreneurship education.
The
goal of our conversations in the How-To-Do-It Room is to cut to the core of the
issue. We look for substantive information to help you, the educator in your
entrepreneurship education efforts. The popularity of this room has led to the
development of a How-To-Do-It Kit compiling straightforward information to help
you develop quality entrepreneurship programs. The objective is to provide you
with a roadmap of the best approaches in launching, running, and growing an
entrepreneurship program at your colleges – and indeed becoming more
entrepreneurial yourself.
During
this webinar we’ll discuss the kit, describe what it is, and share some of the
research that has gone into developing the kit including 21 Proven Success
Strategies we’ve uncovered in its development.
This
webinar will be presented by André Taylor, chief executive of Taylor Insight, a
leadership development firm focused on entrepreneurship and our partner in
developing the How-To-Do-It Kit. Additionally, André is an entrepreneur,
author, and community college graduate.
NACCE
members will know André as the host of our How-To-Do-It Room, our monthly
podcast and webinar series, and a columnist for our quarterly journal. He’s
also a regular contributor to ABC News, "Money Matters,” and writes, coaches,
and consults extensively on the subject of entrepreneurship.
