The long-awaited grand opening of the Entrepreneurship and Business Development Center (EBDC) was announced during the regular session meeting of the Moberly Area Community College Board of Trustees Monday night. The new business center, located at 959 W. Reed across from the main campus, will celebrate with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m., Friday, May 15. The MACC Presidential Ambassadors, DEX members and staff from the Workforce and Technical Education department, will provide guided tours from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Speakers will include Dr. Evelyn Jorgenson, MACC president; and Dennis Melton, district director, St. Louis district office of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
