On Saturday, April 9th, over 80 entrepreneurial community college presidents and leaders met together in Chicago to discuss successful leadership strategies, network with peers from across the US & Canada and share best entrepreneurial practices. Many of the topics discussed will be used to create the President's breakout session track at NACCE2016: Innovate Now. In our Spring/Summer edition of our quarterly journal, Community College Entrepreneurship, we will feature articles and takeaways from our inaugural Leadership Summit. A special thank you to all who attended and to the sponsors who made this event possible.
The program was excellent. I learned so much. Later at the AACC convention, I went to sessions offered by many of the same presenters who presented at the Saturday summit. The layout of the program allowed for questions and engagement, and while I was new to NACCE, I was greeted kindly by the veterans like Rebecca Corbin and Gene Giovanni. I am looking forward to the Incubator Boot Camp at Maricopa in May.
