NIACC Entrepreneurs’ Exchange Presents Superior Service = Superior Sales

Mason City, IA - How can a business survive and compete in the current business climate? What are the secrets to keeping customers? Over the past 16 years Scott Moorman, Moorman Clothiers, has developed a strategy that has enabled his business to survive and compete during the recent turbulent economic times. During the NIACC Entrepreneurs’ Exchange, Scott will share tips that Moorman Clothiers has utilized to provide superior service and which has generated superior sales. The NIACC Entrepreneurs’ Exchange will be on September 15 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Room 104G at McAllister Hall on the NIACC Campus.

Moorman Clothiers’ slogan “The Only Men’s and Women’s Store You’ll Ever Need” is more than a promise – it’s a passion. At the age of 18, Scott Moorman knew what he wanted to do with his life. He sold shirts and ties out of his trunk to make the down payment on the Mason City store and he bootstrapped it into a successful downtown retail business. For the past 16 years, Scott and his wife Susan have owned the Mason City store. Scott and Susan have developed a strategy focused on customer service and satisfaction, a key to their continued business success.
