Attending NACCE2016? Have you signed up for a preconference workshop yet? We asked Marge Johnsson, one of our workshop presenters, why attendees should come to her Entrepreneurship Proof of Concept class. Here's what she said:
"The Entrepreneurship Proof of Concept preconference workshop is an excellent opportunity for faculty teaching entrepreneurship for the first time to learn a proven process of how to guide students from "thought" to "first revenue" in one course. After this 3-hour preconference workshop, participants will walk away with a customized syllabus for teaching this highly experiential "proof of concept" entrepreneurship class, complete with class-by-class lecture topics and out-of-class assignments which will lead students on a logical, step-by-step process to test and launch a new venture.
The Entrepreneurship Proof-of-Concept preconference workshop is also a great opportunity for those who have already been teaching some courses in an entrepreneurial curriculum to gain insights about how to move from theoretical entrepreneurial mindset and leadership type classes to a hands-on, highly experiential class which allows students to really experience (within a classroom framework) what it is like to actually test a new business idea and to "taste" the thrill of launching a new venture."
