IA, Oct. 1, 2009 - NIACC Entrepreneurs’ Exchange will present “Protecting Your
Brainchild” on October 20, 2009. Whether it is developing, enforcing or capitalizing
on your ideas – from the first-time inventor to the small corporation, learn
how to protect your intellectual property! Intellectual property rights are
legal property rights over creations of the mind, both artistic and commercial,
and the corresponding field of law.The NIACC Entrepreneurs’ Exchange will take place on
October 20, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in McAllister Hall, Room 104G, on the
NIACC campus.
Tim Zarley
and Joe Hoffman, with Zarley Law Firm, will describe the legal steps you can take
to protect your brainchild. Based in Des Moines with a satellite office in the
NIACC Business Incubator, Zarley Law Firm has over 50 years of patent law
experience. Their practice covers patents,
trademarks, intellectual property (IP) litigation, foreign protection and other
assistance to help you protect your specific intellectual property
issues.
This
seminar topic is targeted to inventors, academics, entrepreneurs and small
companies.
