Young Entrepreneurs Gather at Conference

Despite more job loss, the unemployment rate is dropping in the nation.

Economists say it's a labor market with well over six un-employed workers per job opening. They said just last month the average unemployment spell was around eight months. That can make the search pretty unappealing. That's why some say now's the time to start your own.

High school and College students interested in becoming entrepreneurs are learning an important lesson. Even in these economic conditions, becoming your own boss is a promising venture.
Meg Fisher is a recent college grad, a twenty-two year old and business owner.
