Movers and Makers

One of our top rated breakout sessions at NACCE 2017 was entitled, "Movers & Makers: Building Ecosystems Beneficial to Makers & Entrepreneurs". This presentation was delivered by John Graulty, Dean of Visual Applied, and Performing Arts at Cabrillo College (CA) and Payson McNett, Art Studio Faculty & Fab Lab and Makerspace Director at Cabrillo College (CA).

In this session, John and Payson explained how establishing partnerships on and off campus with those who embrace the maker/risk-taker mindset is essential to developing a vibrant, entrepreneurial makerspace for your campus and community. They taught attendees how Cabrillo College identified and engaged an extended ecosystem of partners who support and benefit from its makerspace and creative entrepreneurship programs.
