Fresno SCORE adds new small biz counselors

The Fresno Small Business Administration office has announced a new slate of SCORE volunteers to assist small business owners.
SCORE, or the Service Corps of Retired Executives, is a nonprofit organization made up of volunteers who provide counseling and training to entrepreneurs under an SBA grant. For more information about the local SCORE program, visithttp://www.fresnoscore.org/
The new counselors are:
GILBERT ALVAREZ has over 20 years experience in finance, accounting, analytical forecasting and loan applications. Gilbert, brings years of experience in commercial lending, financial management, accounting, letters of credit, valuation statements, development, construction and leasing. His area of counseling skills include; QuickBooks, Timeline, banking, business plans, cash flow, contracting and financing.
JAMES DOMINGUEZ has over 10 years experience in consumer communications, graphic design, copywriting, events management, business development and brand positioning. He currently owns and operates The Fresno Brand Company. His area of area of Expertise is advertising, sales, marketing, public relations and graphic Design. His counseling skills are in advertising, marketing and public relations.
SHELLY DORN, MBA, CPA, has been teaching accounting and business courses at Madera, Reedley and Fresno City College. Her expertise covers accounting, management accounting, business communications, entrepreneurship, human relations and customer service. Shelly is a member of several professional organizations including NACCE, CEO, AAUW, TACTYC, and ABC. When you see Shelly asks her about these acronyms.
