Indian River State College probably impacts the lives of Treasure Coast residents more than any other entity.

It may be through the nurse, paramedic, police officer or physician trained there. It may be through a technical course you have attended to improve your job skills. It may be through a performance at the McAlpin Fine Arts Center or at Hallstrom Planetarium. It may be through a sporting event, such as the continuing national championships won by the school's swimming and diving teams. It may be through a business forum or special event presented at one of the school's five campuses.

On Saturday, IRSC will host an open house on its Fort Pierce campus in celebration of its 50th year.
