Hometown/Tri-City Vending in Oak Lawn, Ill. was name "Entrepreneur of the Year" at this year's annual Business Champion Awards presented by Moraine Valley Community College's Economic Development Council.
"The category of Small Business and Entrepreneurial includes businesses that have demonstrated continued growth measured by either an increase in the number of employees, sales, or volume," said Eda Schrimple, director of the council in a prepared statement. "Hometown/Tri- City Vending has demonstrated significant gains in all of these categories, year after year."
