Pridday wins national business award

Beth Pridday, director of Business & Entrepreneurial Services at Minnesota State Community and Technical College - Detroit Lakes, has been honored with a national entrepreneurship award. Pridday was one of 10 recipients of a Recognition Award at the 8th Annual Conference of the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship in Orlando, Fla., in October. She received her award in the category of Effective Partnerships and Collaborations. "I was surprised and honored to be recognized for my collaboration work in entrepreneurism, and I'm thrilled to be actively pursuing it with many of our rural neighboring towns," Pridday said.
