Continuing a tradition of promoting entrepreneurship and higher education, Youth Entrepreneurs Kansas (YEK) will now offer college credit to its students through a new partnership with Butler Community College.

The course is offered to the first 180 YEK students to apply and be accepted by the college. Butler Community College one hour of credit for a semester-long online course and two hours of articulated credit for completion of YEK’s yearlong course. The online course consists of book reviews, current-event discussions, entrepreneur interviews and the submission of a business plan executive summary.

"YEK promotes higher education, and this is a great way for students to get a head start on their college career,” said Kylie Stupka, YEK executive director. "We are very happy to partner with Butler Community College to offer this to our students.”
