MASON CITY - North Iowa Area Community College is one of six
community colleges in Iowa to join a national entrepreneurship
forum.
The National Association of Community College Entrepreneurship
(NACCE), the nation's leading organization focused on promoting
entrepreneurship through community colleges, has announced the
creation of a Presidents for Entrepreneurship Forum.
Through the program, presidents of community colleges throughout
the country commit to increase the focus on entrepreneurship at
their institutions and the impact these colleges have on the
economic well being of the communities they serve.
More than 100 community college presidents have joined NACCE's
Presidents for Entrepreneurship Forum, including the presidents of
Des Moines Area Community College, Des Moines; Hawkeye Community
College, Waterloo; Iowa Central Community College, Fort Dodge; Iowa
Western Community College System, Council Bluffs; North Iowa Area
Community College, Mason City; and Southeastern Community College,
West Burlington.
