Productive employment for 55+’ers is a reality, and some of the seekers are in your classroom. These women and men—and please note, women are an increasing segment of this audience—are here for advice, to develop the skills they need and to test the validity of their ideas. Given today’s economic climate, a growing number of retirees and would-be retirees are remaining in the work force.
The focus of this course is entrepreneurship This Workbook, which you’ll share with your 55+’ers, is an adaptation of sound principles and practices, tailored for your special audience. The Workbook has many Work Sheets and Prompt Sheets. Make as many copies from the masters as you require for your classes. The only “tests” are whether the 55+’ers get closer to their goals.
You’ll move in a 4-step building block sequence to a “Go/No-Go decision,” building enough confidence, we trust, to take the plunge. At the same time, keep in mind the old adage, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again!” It surely applies to entrepreneurship.
