"Sharing Best Practices”
The NACCE Summer Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators (S-CCEE) is an annual event for faculty at community colleges designed to highlight innovative ways in which to teach entrepreneurship in both the credit and credit free arenas. The Symposium provides a forum to network with entrepreneurship faculty and an opportunity for educators to walk away with tools to educate and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs. The theme of this Symposium is: "Teaching Entrepreneurship: Sharing Best Practices”. The focus will be on student engagement, innovative teaching methods, and lastly, marketing these entrepreneurship courses both to the internal and external markets.
From Last Years Participants…
"The symposium offered me an opportunity to learn about the broad range of approaches to entrepreneurship throughout the country. Hearing about programs in their infancy and more mature programs was very beneficial. Of particular interest was the information relative to inclusion of entrepreneurship within existing vocational programs. I am inspired by the discussions at the symposium”
"The program was extremely informative and we came away sufficiently impressed to create a training program which we called "The Entrepreneurial Venture: Facts You need to know to Start and Operate your Own Business".”
