Session #1 – Teleclassroom
"Innovative Ways of Teaching Entrepreneurship in Credit and Credit-Free Environments"
Historically, students wanting to learn the skills associated with starting their own business have been directed toward a variety of semester-long traditional business courses building on an Associate Degree. However, the landscape is changing. Entrepreneurship courses are among the "hottest" sought after courses around the globe. The courses are accelerated, blending learning environments, and often teach the process of business planning and those characteristics and traits that drive entrepreneurial success. They are flexible allowing students to get what they need and get going. Entrepreneurship courses are found as both credit and non-credit offerings.
During this informative session, you will have an opportunity learn what your peers are doing on both sides of the "credit/non-credit" issue. Thoughts, questions, and observations are encouraged to add to the richness of the discussion.

Session #3
"Learning in Action! (LIA): A Problem Based Learning Experience for Developing the Entrepreneurial Spirit in Community Colleges"
Experiential learning teaches students to expand their thinking outside of “right or wrong answers” and linear thought patterns. Students need to learn to deal with chaos, uncertainty and to see new opportunities that come from a changing world, yet most of our formal educational systems teach students how to work and live in a stable and structured organizational environment. This session will review several learning experiences that expose students to creative thinking about authentic issues. The session will be interactive and new learning vignettes will be developed for community colleges. A network will be established for attendees to join the on-going Learning in Action curriculum.

"Teaching Entrepreneurship Education Through Blended Learning"
This session will provide participants an opportunity to learn more about blended e-Learning: the combination of face-to-face instruction with online content. Developed by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation Planning the Entrepreneurial Venture provides a dynamic, hands-on approach to entrepreneurship. Students learn through self-discovery as they research, develop, and write a start-up business plan.
During this session, a brief description of the blended e-learning delivery method will be shared along with a discussion of its advantages and challenges. How Planning the Entrepreneurial Venture is integrated into entrepreneurship curriculum and best practice teaching recommendations that create a more effective learning environment will be discussed.

"Now What? Marketing Your Offerings Internally and Externally"
How many times are courses offered only to find they have been “cancelled due to lack of sufficient enrollment?” This can especially be seen in the area of entrepreneurship, where “customers” are not easily found or reached. Marketing entrepreneurship programs successfully depends on strong relationships both internally and externally. In this session, three very different battle-tested pros invite you to join in a lively and practical discussion about program marketing - what works, what's hot, and what's not.
