Chancellor Giovannini previously served as the Board Chair for the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship and as a board member of the American Association of Community Colleges. His extensive experience with workforce development and industrial and economic development programs enabled him to lead the creation of the Center for Entrepreneurial Innovation (CEI), work that began in 2006 and continues strong today.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Chancellor Giovannini has made giving back and serving others a priority throughout his career, as evidenced by his appointment on numerous boards of directors. He cares deeply about economic impact, collaboration, and proactively pursuing opportunities to strengthen communities.
The Chancellor earned a doctorate in Community College Education from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Education and a Master of Education from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Marina, have three children.
