As the manager of the Verizon Innovative Learning Program, Anelisa Lauri implements the Verizon employee engagement initiative, working closely with the director of projects and college camp directors. She provides consistent and clear communication with the colleges, Verizon, and NACCE staff in accordance with the timeline and project plan. She has over eight years of experience in entrepreneurship education in higher ed, eight years in retail buying, and a comprehensive background working with diverse groups of people and projects.
Lauri worked in various project management roles for NACCE since 2017, including the HP Foundation’s Student Entrepreneurship Challenge, the make/SHIFT conference in Irvine, California, and the grant oversight and management of the Eastern Kentucky train-the-trainer entrepreneurship initiative at community colleges in partnership with the Appalachian Regional Commission. She also worked as a program consultant to CUNY, New York and Indian River State College and has taught entrepreneurship courses at Baruch College in New York, where she received her MBA with a focus of entrepreneurship. She earned her BS from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
