NACCE is pleased to announce that Linda Losey, Co-founder and COO at Bloomery Sweetshine®, is one of our NACCE 2018 keynote speakers this year! Bloomery Plantation Distillery opened as a mini-distillery in the agri-tourism industry, September 17, 2011. With a sweet spin on moonshine, they make moonshine drinkable through their hand-crafted award-winning SweetShine® liqueurs from farm-fresh fruits, roots and nuts. The Distillery is located two miles east of Charles Town, WV and is situated on a 12-acre parcel of land where they grow farm-fresh ingredients, including ginger, raspberries and lemons. Preconference Highlight: Entrepreneurial Mindset Facilitator Training {in partnership with ELI}




Date & Time: Friday, October 5 - Sunday, October 7; 8 AM - 4 PM

Location: 33605 Tarrant County College 300 Trinity River Circle Fort Worth, TX 76102

Description: he Entrepreneurial Mindset Facilitator Certification prepares participants to implement Ice House Entrepreneurship Programs.  These programs are experiential, problem-based learning programs designed to inspire and engage participants in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial mindset. This interactive training will engage participants in the Ice House Philosophy, Ice House Opportunity Discovery Process, and the key constructs behind the eight life lessons of the Ice House Entrepreneurship Programs. Upon successful completion of the certification training, participants will receive an Entrepreneurial Mindset Facilitator Certificate qualifying them to facilitate any of the Ice House Entrepreneurship Programs.This event is organized by the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative and hosted by Tarrant County College.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the Ice House philosophy and methodology
  • Develop your entrepreneurial mindset with the Ice House Lessons
  • Cultivate your entrepreneurial skills with the Ice House Opportunity Discovery Process
  • Connect the classroom to community by interacting with local entrepreneurs
  • Distinguish between program options, delivery, and outcomes
  • Understand program impact from best practices and use cases
  • Practice facilitating the Ice House Program with onsite coaching
  • Create an implementation plan to implement Ice House
