ALL DAY PRECONFERENCE

Date/Time: Sunday, October 11 from 9 AM – 4 PM

Title:  Intuit's Design for Delight (D4D) Training 

Description: Design for Delight (D4D) is a series of three principles which represent how Intuit innovates. The goal of D4D is to help teams to be bold by going beyond customer expectations, evoking positive emotion throughout the customer experience, and delivering dramatic improvements in their customers’ lives. During this all-day preconference, you will:

  • Learn/review the principles of D4D
  • Engage in D4D through multiple small group exercises - This will be a very interactive session!
  • Find ways to incorporate D4D in your profession 

Registrants that participate in the full-day preconference will receive a D4D digital badge through NACCE. Learn more about D4D here.

MORNING PRECONFERENCE

Title: Support Entrepreneurs in the Skilled Trades - Lesson Learned + Get Involved with #PitchfortheTrades

Description: Last year, NACCE was awarded a grant by the Philip E. and Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation to support entrepreneurs in skilled trades. At our 2019 annual conference in Newport Beach, CA, we hosted the inaugural Pitch for the Trades Competition with the overaching goal to foster job creation for the trades and help provide resources to our members and their students. Title: Empower Your Student Entrepreneurs - Lesson Learned + Get Involved with Everyday Entrepreneur Venture Fund Phase II

Description: NACCE has partnered with the Everyday Entrepreneur Venture Fund (EEVF) to address one of most urgent needs of our country – that of supporting local economies via entrepreneurship. Our joint mission is to launch underfunded community college entrepreneurs into business, with a focus on community-based start-ups, scale-ups of existing businesses, and the implementation of proven replicable business models.
