Invention and Inclusive Innovation initiative (i3)

The Invention and Inclusive Innovation initiative (i3) is a bold initiative, launched through the Chancellor’s Workforce and Economic Development Division. It catalyzes innovation to solve social problems across the state that existed before COVID-19 and those that the pandemic created or amplified. The program is a first for the state of California, and is a collaboration between the Chancellor’s Office and the Lemelson-MIT Program, modeled after the Lemelson-MIT InvenTeams.
