About the Digital Workforce Innovation Program
The Digital Workforce Innovation Program (DWIP) is a national initiative launched by NACCE, MakerUSA, and Infosys Foundation USA to help community and technical colleges expand proven workforce development programs that prepare students for the digital economy.
The program supports six colleges across the United States with funding, resources, and a collaborative learning network designed to scale innovative approaches to digital upskilling, hands-on learning, and workforce readiness. Participating institutions are leveraging makerspaces and experiential learning environments to equip students with the technical, entrepreneurial, and career skills needed for today's rapidly evolving workforce.
Each college received a $25,000 grant to strengthen and expand existing workforce programs, supporting activities such as curriculum development, student engagement, faculty training, research, and program growth.
As part of their projects, participating colleges are also integrating the Infosys Foundation USA Springboard platform, providing students with access to:

opportunities to build in-demand skills in technology, professional development, and career readiness.
In addition, students gain access to SkillPointe's career exploration tools, helping them discover high-opportunity career pathways, assess their strengths, and build an entrepreneurial mindset.
Together, the six participating colleges are creating scalable models that will help thousands of students develop the digital skills, real-world experience, and career readiness needed to thrive in the future of work.
