Baker Hill CEED Initiative
CEED to Success
The National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship and Baker Hill, a leading fintech company providing cloud-based loan origination and risk management software for financial institutions, have launched CEED to Success, a pioneering pilot program designed to equip veteran entrepreneurs with the financial tools, business acumen and community connections they need to secure funding and scale their businesses.
Grounded in Baker Hill’s Community Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Development (CEED) framework — which champions the belief that “when entrepreneurs are ready, entire communities rise” — the initiative leverages NACCE’s national network of community and technical colleges to deliver impactful training, mentorship and access to local partners.
The program offers:
-
Hands-on resources including local workshops, peer cohorts and support from BAIL (Banking, Accounting, Insurance and Legal) teams.
Participants will also receive:
-
Pitch training
-
Alumni engagement opportunities
-
Access to proven NACCE initiatives like STRIVE (Startup Training Resources to Inspire Veteran Entrepreneurship), a national program that empowers transitioning service members and veterans to launch and grow their businesses
“CEED to Success isn’t just a program — it’s a catalyst for systemic change. By working alongside NACCE and aligning education, entrepreneurship, and local partnerships, we’re building resilient ecosystems where underserved entrepreneurs — including veteran, women, and minority-owned businesses — don’t just start businesses; they drive lasting, community-centered impact.”– Dirk Soma, Director, CEED at Baker Hill
