Professional Bio
Rachel Jagoda Brunette is a program officer with The Lemelson Foundation focused on creating a model for shared regional economic prosperity using the Foundation’s home state of Oregon as a prototype. Her grantmaking work brings together partners in K12, higher ed, and business incubation to motivate and enable young people to pursue invention and entrepreneurship as a career path. She also serves on leadership and advisory committees for organizations leveraging community and education assets to promote entrepreneurship. Prior to her work at The Lemelson Foundation, Rachel was a staff member on the U.S. House Committee on Science and Technology managing oversight of federal programs in STEM education, transportation, and homeland security.
