Dr. Lily Davido (Rio Salado)

  • Dr. Lily Davidov currently serves as the Faculty Chair for Accounting and Small Business at Rio Salado College. In this role, she oversees a variety of programs that equip students with the skills needed for careers in business, entrepreneurship, real estate, risk management, and finance.
  • Dr. Davidov began her professional journey in Uzbekistan, initially pursuing a medical career. However, after the collapse of the USSR, she immigrated to the United States and started working as a deli clerk at Bashas’ supermarket. During her time at Bashas’, she advanced to a management role, which sparked her interest in business. This experience inspired her to further her education and pursue a career in the business world—eventually transitioning to education to help others succeed in similar fields.
  • Dr. Davidov holds an Associate in Applied Science in General Business from Phoenix College, a Bachelor's degree in Global Business from Arizona State University, an MBA with a concentration in Accounting, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Her doctoral dissertation explored the role of an educated workforce in driving customer retention and acquisition, as well as the strategic use of Entrepreneurial Orientation in the grocery industry.

Entrepreneur, Entertainer, and Commercial Leader. 

Jack has a unique mix of experience in corporate senior leadership, entrepreneurship, education, brand marketing, and entertainment. He currently serves as Director of The Beaufort County Community College Small Business Center, where his department provides free workshops, expert one-on-one small business advising, and modest seed funding to prospective and existing small business owners in rural Eastern North Carolina. Jack is focused on developing strong small business ecosystems in disadvantaged rural areas that help to connect people with subject matter experts, mentors, resources, funding, and education. These efforts have fostered the creation of dozens of small business new starters and hundreds of new jobs in his service area. Jack credits NACEE Everyday Entrepreneur Program with being an essential supporter of his program and efforts to serve the community. The Everyday Entrepreneur program provides valuable tools, resources, expertise, and funding that have a positive impact on his service area.
