Innovation Center Boot Camp: a step-by-step deep dive into developing, launching and running an Innovation Center

Community Colleges can benefit from the establishment of an innovation center on their own campuses. Innovation centers establish a physical space for the digital and physical tools and fruits of innovation.

Beyond conducting facilitated innovation centers in the space, colleges will oftentimes use an innovation center to showcase their own innovations or new products to employees, investors or even customers.

But how do you go about starting an Innovation Center?
Attend this boot camp.

Leveraging the learnings from College of Dupage's Innovation DuPage, participants will leave this event feeling equipped to engage with their institution with a plan started to start an Innovation Center.

Innovation DuPage (ID) is a non-profit venture that unites startup founders and small business owners with the people, resources, and programs that support their growth. During this boot camp, we'll unpack areas like:
  • Types of innovation centres

  • Community needs assessment

  • Institution capabilities

  • Potential Partners

  • Leadership identification
