Eight teams will be competing for a share of $150,000 in prize money made available through the generosity of the Philip E. and Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation on Tuesday, October 4th at the noon mainstage session of NACCE’s annual conference in Boston, Massachusetts.

Teams moving to the Final Pitching Round:

Houston Community College (TX) Makeover for life

Indian River State College (FL) From an Idea to “Hatching”

Pasco-Hernando State College (FL) Sunshine Skills Bus

Pellissippi State College (TN) Grow Strong: Enterprising Early Childhood Development

Pima Community College (AZ) Earn to Learn

Tallahassee Community College (FL) Oyster Seed Nursery Training

Vance-Granville Community College (NC) VGCC Red Tails Aviation

“We were impressed by the dozens of excellent submissions for the Pitch for the Foundation competition that seeks to leverage a college’s fundraising staff and resources with other academic and community facing areas of the college. These college finalists, along with those not advancing to the final pitch competition, will have the opportunity to build on their ideas in the new NACCE Innovation Lab at the conference. We simply could not be more excited about this programming at NACCE’s twentieth anniversary conference,” said Rebecca Corbin, President and CEO of NACCE.

NACCE’s annual conference, October 2 – 5, 2022, in Boston, will also be streamed live for virtual attendees. Register here to attend.
