Jim Kowatch has spent more than two decades at the intersection of higher education and online training. A University of Pittsburgh graduate raised in Northeast Pennsylvania and now based in Baltimore, Jim began his career with Pearson Education before leading Capital Educational Consultants, where he developed a deep understanding of how institutions adopt and scale learning technology.
In 2016, Jim founded Infosec Learning with a simple conviction, online training for higher education deserved a purpose-built platform. He grew it into the leading online training platform, serving the education market and completed a successful exit in 2023.
