NACCE is partnering with the Shelton Leadership Center to shape future professional development around your most pressing needs. We need leaders at all levels to join us for a 1-hour virtual focus group this Fall to share your challenges, insights, and perspectives. Your feedback will directly influence new, high-impact leadership programming tailored to community college innovation.
We are hosting three targeted cohort sessions:

Early-Career Leaders: Share your real-world experiences on navigating campus dynamics, overcoming early career hurdles, and applying entrepreneurial thinking.

Mid-Career Leaders (This Session): Voice your key challenges in driving program innovation, leading across departments, and scaling entrepreneurial initiatives.

Upper Administration: Provide executive insight on top-level decision-making, resource allocation, and building a campus-wide culture of entrepreneurship.
Tiffany McLean
Tiffany McLean leads with a simple belief: people do their best work when they feel seen, respected, and connected to something bigger than themselves. As Senior Associate Director of the General H. Hugh Shelton Leadership Center at NC State University and founder of Ignite Career and Leadership Development, she brings that values-based approach to helping individuals and teams build the character, trust, and self-awareness that turn good intentions into real results.
Her path through corporate finance, higher education, career coaching, and entrepreneurship gave her a wide-angle view of how people grow. Certified in emotional intelligence and strengths-based coaching, Tiffany is especially passionate about bridging generational divides, believing the strongest teams are built on shared values, not shared age or background.
She holds a Master's in English and Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Russian, and her global experiences have deepened her commitment to leading and living with integrity, empathy, and purpose.
