Fall/Winter 22
Welcome to the Winter issue of Community College Entrepreneurship, highlighting our theme, “Revolutionary E-Ship in Action.” In this issue, we explore how social entrepreneurship goes beyond profit and focuses on the impact on people and communities as well. When effectively executed, social entrepreneurship empowers consumers and positively affects society while also generating revenue.
This issue highlights and celebrates the “revolutionary thinking” theme of NAACE’s annual conference held in Boston, Mass., last October. #NACCE2022 attracted 336 in-person and 47 remote attendees. Entrepreneurship faculty, administrators, presidents, and other leaders from 46 states celebrated NACCE’s 20th Anniversary at the conference.
NACCE’s annual awards are featured along with the 2022 Pitch winners.
Finally, please take a moment to read how Verizon Innovative Learning has expanded its STEM Achievers program to ensure greater digital access and equity for middle school students.
