Make/SHIFT 2.0 is Postponed Until 2021

NACCE Blog,

We are disappointed to announce that make/SHIFT 2.0, scheduled for June 3-5, 2020, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, has been postponed until May 6-8, 2021. Since last year’s event in Irvine, CA, the NACCE team has been investing a great deal of effort into what we know would have been a phenomenal gathering. We’d like to thank all of you for so generously offering your ideas, your energy, your enthusiasm and your expertise.

As a community of thought leaders, educators, innovators, and entrepreneurs, we are increasingly faced with opportunities to weigh in, ideate, create new options, and explore new markets. We want to reassure you that NACCE is doing just that – while we may have postponed our in-person event, all is not lost! Our staff is busy lining up a stellar virtual webinar series to enhance our regularly scheduled programming and working to develop a live, virtual event that will highlight portions of our make/SHIFT 2.0 agenda. Stay tuned for more information on how we’ll continue to bring our members together in every way that we safely can!

If you are registered for make/SHIFT 2.0, you may choose from the following options:

  1. Lock in your pricing for next year’s conference by transferring your registration fee to make/SHIFT 2021, which will still take place in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho next spring. Registrations are transferrable, but once you elect this option no refunds may be issued.
  2. Credit your make/SHIFT 2.0 registration towards our annual conference, NACCE 2020 Lighting Up Entrepreneurship in Music City, scheduled for Nashville this October. We are optimistic that our nation will be well this fall. Registration opens next month, so be on the lookout for updates from our events team!
  3. Donate your registration fee to support our scholarship fund, which ensures access to those who may otherwise be unable to attend NACCE events.
  4. Receive a refund of your registration cost.

NACCE will be sending an email to all of you in the week to come with instructions on how to move forward with the option you select. If you are a presenter or sponsor, please be on the lookout for more information from our team on how we hope to continue to work together. We have some big ideas we’d like to talk to you about!

While we are disappointed that we won’t be able to meet in person this year, we look forward to seeing your smiling faces virtually in the weeks to come as we continue to collaborate with our members and our partners on ways that we can serve you today and every day. We thank you for your understanding, and wish you all health and wellness. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team with your questions and ideas. We’d love to hear from you.
