Title: Everyday Entrepreneur Venture Fund 2.0

Description: In this session, you will learn about the Everyday Entrepreneur Venture Fund 2.0, a partnership between NACCE,  the Everyday Entrepreneur Venture Fund (EEVF) and community colleges. The combined goal is to address one of most urgent needs of our country – that of supporting local economies via entrepreneurship.

The goal of this session is to equip community college faculty and leaders with the framework to launch an EEVF program in their communities with a pathway and toolkit for success. NACCE is working to expand the funds available to everyday business startups that are engaged with local community colleges in credit and non-credit entrepreneurship programs. In 2022, NACCE’s EEVF fund will offer up to $250,000 in $5,000 grants as well as a to be determined number of no-interest loans. NACCE encourages and supports community colleges to prepare students to apply and to grow their own EEVF funds locally. The training will provide steps and action plan to get started. NACCE will continue to work with private foundation and donors to build a multi-million-dollar national fund for future years.

This session, led by two veteran community college fundraising professionals will lay out the critical steps necessary for any community college to prepare itself to raise the local matching funds to launch this program.
