The College of DuPage recently hosted its annual Big IDea Pitch Contest, drawing an impressive turnout and showcasing some of the Midwest’s most promising student entrepreneurs. The event highlighted innovative ideas, entrepreneurial talent, and the growing spirit of innovation across the region.

This year’s prizes included a $5,000 Grand Prize, Second Place $4,000 Prize and 3rd Place $3,000 Prize.

In addition to the cash prizes, all finalists will receive a six-month membership to Innovation DuPage, providing continued support, mentorship, and entrepreneurial resources as they grow their ventures.

“A huge thanks goes out to the NACCE Everyday Entrepreneurship program for supporting our youth initiatives this year,” said Dan Facchini. “Their funding made the first-place prize at this year’s Big IDEA Pitch Contest possible, helping Innovation DuPage foster creativity, confidence, and an entrepreneurial mindset among student innovators and entrepreneurs from across the region.”

The College of DuPage has been a consistent supporter of NACCE and continues to play a vital role in advancing entrepreneurship throughout its community.

Each pitch competition supported through the NACCE Everyday Entrepreneurship Program continues to create life-changing opportunities for students and aspiring entrepreneurs across the nation. NACCE and the Everyday Entrepreneurship Program are incredibly proud to see entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and creativity continue to grow in communities throughout the United States.
