Summer/Fall 22

Welcome to the Fall issue of Community College Entrepreneurship, highlighting our theme “Turning Disruption into Opportunity! The issue includes the story of how NACCE and other Ratcliffe Foundation grantees came together through a series of listening sessions to find unique and innovative ways to work together. Participants also connected by engaging in activities outlined in NACCE’s Playbook, and they learned how to thread diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging into their entrepreneurial activities.

In this issue, we explore how community colleges can continue to be innovative and agile while making a meaningful impact in a post-pandemic world. We hear from several community college leaders on the paradigm shifts at the community college level following COVID-19 and how these institutions have responded.

Updates about the new Entrepreneurial College of the Future include the combined effort from community colleges across the country to launch The Joy of Discovery Ideation workshop.

Finally, please take a moment to read how Verizon Innovative Learning has expanded its STEM Achievers program to ensure greater digital access and equity for middle school students.

If you have an idea for an article or an entrepreneurial success story at your college or e-ship center, please contact editor Carol Savage at editor@nacce.com.
