Professional Bio
Dr. Rebecca A. Corbin is a nationally recognized higher education leader with more than two decades of experience in college leadership, institutional advancement, governance, and systems-level innovation across community colleges and nonprofit educational organizations.
Since January of 2015 she has served as President and CEO of NACCE, a 501c3 national nonprofit higher educational association. The mission of NACCE is to advance entrepreneurial mindset and innovative action in classrooms, on campus and in communities. Serving members by providing professional development, publishing a quarterly magazine, hosting an annual Pathways to Prosperity Summit and Annual Conference, and securing funding opportunities for members to co-create new educational resources are the heart of NACCE’s work. With the acquisition of SkillPointe as a $7 million charitable donation in 2023, NACCE’s work in technology, career and workforce development has deepened and expanded. Since 2017, NACCE has regranted over $40 million in sub-awards to member colleges.
Dr. Corbin brings a strong understanding of institutional mission, academic quality, continuous improvement, fiscal stewardship, governance, and accountability. Her career spans executive leadership, teaching, scholarly publication, editorial service, and the design and oversight of multi-institutional initiatives that align academic programs with workforce and community needs while maintaining academic integrity.
