How to Engage Your College Community

As valued members of the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE), you are part of a dynamic community dedicated to fostering innovative action, entrepreneurship, and economic growth within our nation's community colleges. Your engagement and advocacy are key to expanding the reach and impact of NACCE's mission.

We invite you to take an active role in leveraging your membership to benefit not only yourselves but also your colleagues and peers within your college community. Here's how you can make the most of your NACCE membership and encourage others to do the same:

1. Share NACCE's Resources: NACCE offers a wealth of resources from the NACCE Research Institute, including toolkits, case studies, best practices, and research reports, designed to support entrepreneurship education and initiatives at community colleges. Spread the word about these valuable resources among your colleagues, department heads, and administrators. Encourage them to explore NACCE's website and take advantage of these valuable assets to enhance their entrepreneurship programs.

2. Invite Them to Events: NACCE hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including conferences, workshops, and networking opportunities. Encourage your colleagues to attend these events to gain insights, exchange ideas, and connect with fellow educators and industry experts. Share your own positive experiences from past NACCE events to illustrate the value they offer.

3. Attend Free Webinars: Take advantage of NACCE's free webinar series, covering topics ranging from curriculum development to industry partnerships to student engagement strategies. Encourage your colleagues to join these informative sessions to stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in entrepreneurship education.

4. Engage in Professional Development seminars and earn digital badges through the NACCE Institute.

5. Advocate for NACCE: Be an ambassador for NACCE within your college community. Share your personal experiences and success stories as a NACCE member to illustrate the impact it has had on your professional development and your institution's entrepreneurship initiatives.
