NACCE President & CEO Dr. Rebecca Corbin Featured on The EdUp Experience Podcast

Date postedDecember 12, 2025
in NACCE Blog,

We’re excited to share that Dr. Rebecca Corbin, President and CEO of NACCE, was recently featured on The EdUp Experience podcast, recorded live at the Middle States Commission on Higher Education Annual Conference.

In this episode, Dr. Corbin highlights the incredible work of NACCE and its board, including Michael A. Baston, J.D., Ed.D., Sharon Pierce, Amy Diaz, EdD, and Jermaine Ford, Ed.D., and shares how the organization supports hundreds of community colleges through professional development, grant-funded programs, dynamic conferences, and our SkillPointe platform, with scholarship support through the SkillPointe Foundation.

She also shares a fun and interactive tool, her 10-second emoji assessment 🤩, a quick way to gauge entrepreneurial mindset and engagement.

The podcast hosts, Dr. Joe Sallustio, ask some thought-provoking questions that will make you want to listen:

  • How does NACCE’s 23-year-old nonprofit serve 350 community colleges with $1,200 annual membership fees while giving back over $100,000 in grants and $6.5M in tech resources connecting 3.5 million users to in-demand jobs?

  • Why does having 15 board members who are all community college presidents or chancellors create one of the fastest-growing nonprofits in higher education by promoting entrepreneurial mindset and workforce solutions?

  • How does saying yes to opportunities like attending the AI for Good Summit in Geneva with 15,000 participants or other conferences lead to transformational partnerships?

This episode is a must-listen for community college leaders, educators, and anyone passionate about entrepreneurial education. Take a few minutes, listen, and be inspired by Dr. Corbin’s insights and her emoji assessment!
