6 Ways We Are Celebrating #NatlEshipWeek

Here are six ways that we are celebrating National Entrepreneurship Week (February 13-20, 2021). We hope you'll join us!
#1: Roadmap to the Future {in partnership with Maricopa Community College} | Thursday, February 11 from 4:00-5:00 PM EASTERN
During this time of change, and regardless of roles, students, employees, and community members around the country are leading innovation and entrepreneurship. The panel discussion will include the CEO of the NACCE, Rebecca Corbin Ed.D, and CoFounders of Operation Startup and the InLab @HCC, Professors Mary Beth Kerly, MBA and Andrew Gold, PhD of Hillsborough Community College. Special guest, Student Entrepreneur, Dana Swenson will also join the panel and share her personal story of innovation, entrepreneurship and transformation featured in the new book, Impact Ed.

#2: Announcement of Veteran Entrepreneurship Initiative | Monday, February 15 at 12 PM EASTERN
NACCE will air a video presentation about its new veteran entrepreneurship initiatives. Hear from Anelisa Lauri, Director of Community Engagement from NACCE, Dr. Andy Gold, Professor from Hillsborough Community College, and Misty Fox, Director of Entrepreneurship and Small Business from IVMF at Syracuse University. They will discuss the new partnership between NACCE and IVMF, plans to expand the early stage veterans entrepreneurship program (STRIVE) to more NACCE member colleges, and create a NACCE Veteran Entrepreneurship Center of Practice.
#3: Impact ED {in partnership with Pasco-Hernando State College} | Tuesday, February 16 at 11 AM EASTERN
PHSC is hosting a week-long speaker series for #NatlEshipWeek and we are excited to have NACCE's latest publication, Impact ED, featured on Tuesday, February 16. The book authors will share the "why" behind the publication, as well as discuss a few of their favorite takeaways.
#4: Launch of NACCE's Podcast, Making Our Way Forward | Tuesday, February 17
NACCE is excited to launch our new podcast, Making Our Way Forward! The first episode will go live on February 17 and we cant wait for you to hear it.

- tweeting to show our support for entrepreneurship during the #NatlEshipWeek social media storm
#5: Ask Me Anything About IP {in partnership with The Michelson Institute for Intellectual Property} | Thursday, February 18 from 3:00-4:00 PM EASTERN
One of the foundations of a successful venture is intellectual property (IP). Having at least a basic understanding of the realities regarding IP rights, which allow one to manage the protection, sharing and commercialization of inventions and creative works is a most valuable part of entrepreneurship education.Frequently asked questions about IP include:
- How do I know if I have something worth patenting?
- Do I own my IP if it's developed on campus?
- When is the best time to register a trademark?
